The phrase Whanau Hou refers to new birth. As humanity slowly dies on Earth, Project Whanau-Hou is dedicated to the rebirth of humanity across the heavens. An earth-based organisation with broad support, Project Whanau-Hau supports the establishment of new colonies on newly discovered worlds. It is our vision that new worlds can lead to new thinking that avoids the pitfalls encountered on Earth.
Colonists are selected from a large pool of interested parties. The colonists broadly fall into four groups that allow new settlements the benefits of modern social progress without the strong negative biases normally associated with long-established hegemonic civilisations.
